This year’s Gala theme was “Moroccan Nights”, and the sweltering heat made it “HOT Moroccan Nights!” Despite the 105 temperature, some ventured to the festival on Saturday, but most waited until the worst of the heat wave passed, to come on Sunday & Monday. During the night on Sunday, a gusty, strong wind came up, cooling things down, but damaging 15 booths with some art casualties. Kathleen, her booth & her art, all survived what many termed the “Sausalito Apocalyptic Festival”, with several paintings delivered to new homes. Thank you to all those who braved the unusual set of elements to visit!
