Completed lyrical piece, time-lapse movie to follow.

Throughout the circuitous path this acrylic painting took, photos were taken of the progress. Steve, with the help of his son, is making this into a short movie, which will be ready for Marin Open Studios, coming up May 5 & 6 and May 12 & 13, from 11-6pm. Kathleen & Steve have been participants in Marin Open Studios since its inception. This piece is titled, “Foreign Language” & is 20″ x 20″.

A pair of Steve’s winter pieces from out Pine Mt. way.

These two acrylic paintings, on masonite are each 24″ wide: 13″ x 24″ and 14″ x 24″. The Pine Mountain area is one of those islands of wilderness in the middle of Marin. Steve has painted from this area quite a bit. These will be part of what will be exhibited for Steve & Kathleen’s Open Studio, May 5 & 6 and May 12 & 13, from 11 am – 6 pm.

This 20″ x 36″ oil painting is from one of many hikes up the ridge at the end of San Francisco Blvd.. This, and many other paintings & prints will be shown in May as part of Marin Open Studios. May 5-6 and May 12-13.

When May rolls around, Kathleen and Steve will be participating in Marin Open Studios.
