Kathleen finishes several new paintings in time for Open Studio weekend.

This oil on canvas, “Mt Tamalpais from Blithedale Ridge” is 24 x 44″, hung in the entryway to our open studio. We’ll be posting other new paintings in the days leading up to the weekend. OPEN STUDIO, December 1 & 2, 11 am – 5 pm, 38 San Francisco Blvd., San Anselmo. That’s THIS weekend!

Reworking an old favorite, found while preparing for this weekend’s Open Studio.

“Hidden deep in my layers of archived paintings are gems I’ve forgotten about. This piece, “Lake Lagunitas from Pilot’s Knob” is a small piece, but didn’t seem right when I came upon it recently. So, I taped it up & reworked it, trying to stay true to my original intent. I won’t have time to frame it by this weekend, but I’ll have this one & a few others I reworked in bins.” Steve

Since the earliest days, we’ve improved the space to show and worked the garden entry to better provide an inspiring visit.
