This 20″ x 36″ oil painting is done from the ridge at the end of the street the artist lives on. The ridge is part of the “Sleepy Hollow/Terra Linda Marin County Open Space, which encompasses the ridge all the way to Loma Alta! This “Mt. Tamalpais from Sorich Park” is not far from where the Sorich Park trail hits the ridge.
We were surprised at the MarinScapes Gala, by being honored as the keepers of this now 30 year tradition. A huge, beautiful bouquet, then a few words for the adoring crowd. Thank you for making our longstanding involvement in producing this fundraising exhibit a timeless, priceless tradition.
May 11, we celebrated our 33 anniversary. Now, we’re ready for the final weekend of Marin Open Studios. We’re open from 11 am- 6 pm @ 38 San Francisco Blvd., in San Anselmo. Feel free to park in our new parking “lot”, (marked with our open studio signs).
This small Lipinski oil painting is another from a favorite spot, the unique & prominent, Ring Mountain. “Mt. Tamalpais from Ring Mountain, oil on canvas, 7″ x 12.5”, will be part of Kathleen & Steve’s open studio, December 2 & 3, from 11 – 5pm.
Photo of Steve’s paintings at Escalle. The show opens Saturday with a talk by Susan Schneider Williams @ 11 am. She spoke briefly at the Gala and it was moving, inspirational & very interwoven with this benefit art show. Hope to see you there!
