Our Open Studio is over, but we welcome your visit by appointment!

Marin artists, Kathleen Lipinski & Steve Emery held their annual fall Open Studio last weekend. They will continue to show work by appointment, including oil paintings of Mt. Tam, the California coast & the gold en hills.

We’d like to express our appreciation to all those that visited our Open Studio last weekend. The rain cleared, the sun came out and vacant spots on the walls have been rehung with other paintings. We leave most of it up, so if you missed the Open Studio, but would still like to take a look, or perhaps “borrow” a piece under consideration, to see how it looks in your space, please give us a call to schedule a convenient time. We welcome the opportunity!(415) 453-3648.

Reworking an old favorite, found while preparing for this weekend’s Open Studio.

Steve Emery is having an open studio to show his acrylic landscape paintings & lyrical work.

“Hidden deep in my layers of archived paintings are gems I’ve forgotten about. This piece, “Lake Lagunitas from Pilot’s Knob” is a small piece, but didn’t seem right when I came upon it recently. So, I taped it up & reworked it, trying to stay true to my original intent. I won’t have time to frame it by this weekend, but I’ll have this one & a few others I reworked in bins.” Steve
