An afternoon on Loma Alta

“Kathleen and I both went up Loma Alta late one summer afternoon. The light was so beautiful, infused with approaching evening fog! We took 2 cameras, split up, running out ridges, across deer trails. taking many photos. We each worked from those photos for several months.”

One of those images became the featured piece for MarinScapes. This is another, in the calm time, before the wind blew the fog in. It is framed in a frame that is no longer available. “Mt. Tamalpais from Richardson Bay”

Reduced 40% from $500 to $300 unframed! This hand-printed, 9 color serigraph (silk screen) was used for the Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival poster in 1997. Image size 24 x 20″. Signed and numbered in an edition of 160. Multiple copies available. One copy available in a discontinued, beautiful maple frame. Framed reduced by 50%, from $300 to $150. Total framed cost $450.

Steve’s Sierra paintings.

Steve has done many paintings from the High Sierra, and in and around Yosemite. For several years he entered Yosemite Renaissance, a juried show that exhibited in the Yosemite Museum Gallery every winter. He won several honors in the show, including a 1st prize and went each winter. A good winter Valley hike is up to Mirror Lake, and up Tenaya Canyon, or up the Snow Creek Trail to watch for ice falls and avalanches. One year, there were several snowfalls off the top of Half Dome. This 18 x 23″ acrylic painting is from the Snow Creek Trail, looking back toward the valley. It was priced at $1,200., but is reduced for this one-day show, to $750. framed!
